Will UPS succeed with their in store 3D printing services?

Are you a small business owner that utilizes 3D printing or is interested in doing so?

You may be interested in hearing about UPS’s new pilot 3D printing services.

UPS plans to first introduce these services in locations around the San Diego-area, “UPS says it’s offering 3D printing so companies can quickly and inexpensively create models and prototypes of items they plan to produce”. Mashable.com explains in their blog and video below.  

“Start-ups, entrepreneurs and small business owners may not have the capital to purchase a 3D printer on their own, but they may have a need to show prototypes to their current and potential customers,” Michelle Van Slyke (vice-president of small-business solutions and marketing, @ The UPS Store) said in a release. “By offering 3D printing capabilities in-center, we’re able to help further our small business customers’ opportunities for success.” keep reading…
